The Expected Return Of "Winnie The Pooh '

The Expected Return Of "Winnie The Pooh '
(CNN) - My apologies if I have a little 'staff in this review. Opening title card at the helm of Steamboat Willie Mickey and the Disney's famous logo selected, "When You Wish Upon a Star," involuntary shiver went to my back and my eyes have a little 'wet.

Like most Americans, "a certain age", my childhood was informed by images of Magic Kingdom and joy inevitable that a Disney movie would. Despite my less-than-enthusiastic feelings about the most of the last 15 years of Disney animation, I was cautiously optimistic "Pooh" for many reasons, not least, is that I am the kind of person who sings "The Tigger Song" to themselves in random order.

Well, it turns out that he had no reason to be cautious, and every reason to be optimistic.

"Pooh" is a return to the beautiful hand-drawn animation watercolor rails. Full of fun, twisted humor and emotion, is the perfect antidote to summer 3-D "Smurfs" and all kinds of stupid (and noisy) children's films, so little can be held and are not a disappointment for us adults fans of Winnie the Pooh 40 years ago.

Inspired by the many stories of AA Milne, adapted, this is a new adventure, everyone's favorite "silly old Bear" Winnie the Pooh takes place during one day and finds Pooh and all his friends in Hundred Acre Wood noble mission: to find a new Eeyore mysterious figure who seems to have lost the original.

The prize is a new package of honey, Winnie the Pooh, is found out all the sticky stuff (tummy is grumbling Pooh story credited character), is determined to win the award, and to help his friend.

Of course there is always scope of the honey he needs to quench his hunger to see fall out of reach at the last minute.

Winnie the Pooh is in your own words, "very little brain," and get to the bottom of things, the rest of the band spring from the imagination of a toddler and are used both to think like an equal.

As a result, some fancy, if anything but practical ideas, Eeyore tail belongs to the cuckoo clock, the famous red balloons (make your right), and a blackboard with "Tael" written.

Shortly after the competition began, the word is that Christopher Robin has been kidnapped by Backson fear, and the search is abandoned bold Eeyore tail to save their dear friend.

Backson, of course, is actually composed entirely Owl to hide his ignorance, and is actually a "back soon", as erroneously read a note left by Owl of their human friend.

Soon, Winnie, Piglet, Rabbit and take action to save Christopher Robin is "devil." Traps are set, the scan takes place, and a particularly funny and clever sequence, Tigger decides worth two Tiggers best when it comes to Backson hunting, so he decides Eeyore remake his image as "Tigger Too ", to the chagrin of the donkey is pessimistic.

Best children's play area, contains a life lesson that parents can adopt and that children can absorb without feeling like they have something to "teach".

"Pooh" is no exception, and the lesson here is that, friendship, selflessness and loyalty is to be appreciated and revered. Winnie the Pooh, Rabbit, Piglet, Eeyore, Little Owl, Tigger and Roo all sitting in what they think is a danger (and if Winnie the Pooh, ignoring a furious hunger) to save their friend Christopher Robin, without hesitation.

Full of great new songs (including a piece of an old man!) Performed by Zooey Deschanel, M. Ward, and the cast, and full of fun and funny animation (the characters often interact with literally the words on a page), "Winnie the Pooh" Milne is faithful to the source, and the film is cast correctly.

John Cleese as the narrator is wonderful, especially when he plays with Pooh, et al. And the rest of the voice actors do a great job, especially Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and 7 years, Wyatt Hall (son of film director Don), who steals the show as Roo. ("Send the pig.")

I'm not here to answer saying that everything works in the end, and parents should do to help the children to the theater.

The discussion I attended was probably 50% less than 6 years, has not complained. In less than 70 minutes, the film is the perfect length, too.

The credit sequence is partially animated, and there is a post-credit sequence to be seen, as well.
