I'm still having a hard time believing it… but it’s true and it’s the first time Michelle speaks her mind after Heath Ledger’s tragic death to ask for privacy and respect.

"Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time, and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."

As for the video or any speculations about Heath use or not of illegal substances don’t expect to hear about it here… cause I'm not touching that subject… just trying to respect his family, they have been through so much so they need no more drama.

Seems like negotiations with OK! for the first official photos of baby Max are now over, since mommy Christina doesn’t want her baby to share a cover or even be on the same magazine with Nicole Richie’s baby Harlow.
Source says “Christina has an inflated sense of her own value and seems to expect an extortionate amount of money for these baby pictures. I’m not sure OK! or much of the industry thinks is a dollar figure that’s worth it. … She hasn’t proven to be a real seller.”
That means her naked and pregnant Marie Claire magazine cover was a total flop...
According to a person familiar with Aguilera’s contract, the terms include a promise that a magazine that buys the Aguilera baby photos may not run photos of Nicole Richie’s new baby. “Christina can’t stand Nicole,” said a source who knows Aguilera. “Nothing would make her more upset than to see those two babies on the same cover, even if it wasn’t at the same time.”
Now that’s a big Diva moment if you think your kid is so important no other kids can be on a cover… we all want to see Max but to tell the truth I'm even more excited about seeing baby Harlow Winter… see what she’s wearing and how good she looks!
Christina and Nicole feud seems to be just beginning… I see those babies in a lot of magazines in the future… in some years I see them dating… oh that would make mommy Xtina a really mad old lady!! :D

Jennifer Lopez Goes Shopping & Still Pregnant!!

This totally crashes a rumor that Jennifer was currently giving birth for who knows how long… she was out and about shopping, she is huge yes!
Jennifer was shopping on Thursday, January 31st at Scoop in Greenvale, New York accompanied by little sister Linda. When her 30-minute visit was over, the mom-to-be had purchased six new pairs of shoes and was overheard saying she needed more comfortable shoes as her feet were swelling.
Well one thing to notice is that she is wearing flats in that picture; I think I never saw her with such comfortable shoes… not even in her recent baby shower and she was already way too pregnant for high heels!
Judging for how big she is, Jennifer is due to give birth to twins any minute now... she might be in labor right now... who knows... :)

Ooohh, poor Paris!! 50 Cent was performing at the pre-Super Bowl party for 944 magazine hosted by Paris Hilton when Paris let loose…
So what happened was that when 50 Cent gave a shout out to Paris, she got excited and got on stage starting to dance. Then one of 50 Cent’s crew quickly instructed her to "Get the f**k off the stage."
She started to cry and tried to plead with the party's production staff to let her dance, whining, "But it's my party!" Don’t be such a baby Paris!!!
I don’t know what to really think about this… was she drunk?? Or was she sensible cause she didn’t have any hot girl to make out with?? :)
50 Cent made little poor Paris cry, he is a monster!!!!!!!!! You can’t make Paris cry… it’s too damn funny! :)

I wouldn't go that far, but with a bit of lowered expectations, it is a funny video. just don't expect to pee your pants or anything. the best part is when they do the step dance-off thing:

what is modhaus? this is!

I am so into this (if I wasn't poor). ModHaus is an online furniture/houseware/clothing/jewelry store based in Boston run by 2 antique roadshow-esque peeps that specializes in carrying unique pieces from the 1940s-1970s. I'm assuming their name is a play on bauhaus, but unfortunately my knowledge of architecture is limited, so there might actually be a style called modhaus that I've just never heard of before. Here is a sample of their ware:

Space age ceiling light w/ enameled metal frame ($95)

Deco brass ashtray in form of stork ($45)

Pair of lounge chairs ca. 1940s ($475)

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't exactly have the dough to drop $500 on a pair of chairs (and that is on the cheaper side of their furniture), but! if money weren't an issue, I do think some of the pieces are quite lovely. this is all part of my imaginary house. I daydream about my IH a lot. I could give a shit about my wedding, but my IH! I'm always thinking about what the kitchen will look like (1950s) and what my garden will look like (raised flower beds and vegetables growing out of a wheelbarrow) and I want a gentleman's club in my IH where everything is mahogany wood and dark red leather and we smoke cigars and play cards and there is a bar and a pool table and darts. oh. not like I think about it that much.
