royal deluxe

sometimes things in life are so amazing i don't really know how to respond to them emotionally. When I found out about Royal Deluxe, I felt excited, jealous, inspired, and probably fat; all at the same time. They are a french mechanical marionette street theatre company. They make huge, beautiful puppets that act out a story about a little girl who time travels in city streets.

why did i leave new jersey?



a toxic avenger musical? i would give my left tit to do this.

the toxic avenger is probably what rocky horror or evil dead was before they started selling the t-shirts in hot topic. A real cult cult classic. The film takes place in New Jersey and is about a nerd (Melvin) who falls into a barrel of toxic waste and becomes a crime stopping super-hero. They even made this a cartoon series that was on at like 5:00 on tuesdays on channel 11 or something obscure like that, i don't really know why, but it was amazing. The film is produced by troma films, makers of the worst(best) movies on the planet. They are notorious for lots of gore, tits, and bad acting. Other classics include sargent kabuki man nypd, teenage cat girls in heat, and tromeo and juliet. I think there are 4 toxie films total, well i have 4 at least. and the cartoon series.

the musical will be at the george street playhouse in new brunswick, nj in the fall.

i need a drink.

DRAMA: a mag about fashion in the performing arts (not just theatre but costumes for musicians and the like)

MISSBEHAVE: kind of like nylon + bust. a mag with definite potential, despite them dissing target's GO: International line.

LET THEM EAT CAKE: this has a nice name.
