I am loving this song right now. even if in the video she is wearing weird 90s tights. also, I am thinking this is one of those songs that everybody already knows about for months and then I just find it and get obsessed. I hate when that happens
florence and the machine.
and here is their version of a beyonce song that I love, too (halo, but b's version is obvi superior)
don't hate. I fuckin love queen B.

recreating the nyc skyline from memory
this is incredible.
"Stephen Wiltshire was diagnosed as autistic at aged three, did not speak until five but as an adult sells his art for thousands of British pounds.
Wiltshire was recently in New York for the last of nine massive panoramic drawings of major cities around the world. He has drawn each from his unique memory that stores the complete view of a city after taking a helicopter ride that lasts minutes."

drawn to scale perfectly.

still no pants
As made perfectly clear, I pretty much despise lady gaga. I hate her dumb, attention grabbing "art," and I hate even more that she is basically our generation's madonna, not that I even like madge that much in the first place. I hate that she isn't going to disappear in a year, I hate that she started a pantsless trend, and I hate that I'm starting to lose my active hate for her and it's morphing into more of a back-of-my-mind don't-really-care-hate.
fuck it, if you can't beat 'em, be 'em for halloween. lady gaga halloween costume ideas.

from mint siren
i love underwear (aka i want to be a pin up girl (but now everyone does these days))
i found an amazing blog about all things intimate and lacy called frou frou fashionista
considering all that underwear happening at fashion week for S/S 2010, it's worth checking out, even if you aren't a panty perv.

perfect for the lazy outfit-chooser
I am too poor for an iphone. but if I did have one, I would definitely download this ingenious app.
based on the weather of where you are (it determines it from a gps) and what type of event you're going to (movie night in, date night out, work), it suggests an outfit (all of which you can buy, of course, we DO live in a capitalistic society). but hey, if you're lazy like me, you can just see an adorable outfit suggestion and then match it to your own closet! I'm into it.
