Sean Kingston Hospital After Jet Ski Accident
Sean Kingston was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami on Sunday night after hitting a bridge while riding his jet ski.
Local 10 News in Miami, Florida, reports that about 6 pm when "Beautiful Girls" singer and a passenger crashed into the bridge that connects Miami to Palm Island on the MacArthur Causeway.
Crews Miami Fire Rescue responded to the scene and rushed to Jackson Memorial Kingston, where he is now. A spokesman for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said that Local 10 of Kingston and his passenger "necessary medical treatment."
According to Local 10 News the cause of the accident is still under investigation, but so far there does not appear that alcohol played a role in the accident.
TMZ reports that Kingston is treated in the trauma unit and is in critical condition. MTV has not been able to confirm this information.
An anonymous representative of the singer made a statement to TMZ: "Sean Kingston has had an accident today no more details are available at the time he and his family thanked everyone for the good wishes ..."
Sean Kingston burst onto the music scene in 2007 with his hit "Beautiful Girls" on their debut self-titled gold sales. In 2009, he released his second album RedOne morning was led by single product "Fire Burning". In February, dropped his mixtape King of Kingz, and is currently working on their third album, yet untitled.
