Video: Eddie Vedder Brings 'Without You' To Letterman
While we are still a few months before Pearl Jam is a great celebration the 20th anniversary in September, Eddie Vedder is doing his thing. He supports his latest studio, songs Ukulele, Hawaiian melodies have soaked in the road. Last night, in trucks on the Ed Sullivan
Theater to appear on the Late Show with David Letterman. "I really like this next guy," Letterman acknowledged, referring to their long friendship, adding: "He was kind enough to give me a guitar, and occupies a place of honor in my house." Nice. Close partner in crime, Paul Shaffer faithful Letterman joked that he should get a ukulele now. Letterman shrugged, said it was up to Vedder, and sprinkle with the introduction by insisting that the rocker is in poor condition "itself is cool to play the ukulele."

Cool or not, Vedder has maintained a strong presence as he sat on stage alone. It is hard to forget this man once dived head first into the crowd erupted steps from each other, and dangled from the ceiling rafters. But as he strummed away on "Without You", the strings of light Uke suggested another facet of his strong character-wise as an observer. Hey, maybe the album will attract you, but it is impossible to dismiss this guy when he's on the microphone. As mentioned Letterman, shortly after the show: "If I had that voice, you can all kiss my ass." Well, Dave good start, but you need a beard, hair, and 20 years + and with authority, too.
